The eagerly awaited Spring drop 1 from Misha & Puff launched on the 8th of February and as always we were overwhelmed with the love for this beautiful collection with many pieces selling out in the first few minutes.

Some of the most popular styles were created in collaboration with artist Julie Daleyden, an illustrator and textile designer hailing from Lille in the very northern part of France.

Immersed in the creative world from a tender age, a young Julie was enrolled into an art school by parents at just six years of age where she was exposed to multitude of skills and techniques that included drawing, pottery and engraving whilst at home much time was spent in her grandmothers sewing workshop where experimenting and working with fabric became an integral part of life.

For the last 15 years, and alongside her own projects, Julie has collaborated with numerous textile, clothing, decoration and toy brands from her home based studio and printmaking facilities in the Espace d'art contemporain in Lasécu. We were so excited when we first heard Misha & Puff would be producing a Daleyden collection  - it really was love at first sight when the styles were first shown to us and we are thrilled to be stocking all 20 of the children's pieces in this first drop.

Misha & Puff's recent journal provides a fascinating insight to Julie's world where she surrounds herself with the works of artist friends, and creates little stories for herself through objects and furniture that she's hunted down or that belonged to people important to her. She collects things that might be useful to her for creation or inspiration.

Whatever the technique (engraving, drawing, ceramics, sewing, etc.), Julie loves volume and being close to the material. In her notebooks, she draws little characters who travel to different worlds, like her engraving plates or ceramics. Julie gets her inspiration from travel, books, objects, traditional costumes, carnivals, Inuit art, sculpture, music, art brut, and naive art.

The Fête motif and other Daleyden pieces featuring Happy Moons, Sparrows, Finches, Wrens and Doves are available now with more to follow later in the season. The beautifully bright colour palette is a breath of fresh air as we reach the end of the long Winter season, with 20 fresh new styles that include t-shirts, shorts, skirts, dresses, long sleeve boxy tops, the best a pants (almost all gone!) and super sweet hair scrunchies too.

With some sizes in several styles are already sold out and very limited availability left in others and we would strongly suggest not leaving it until the warm weather arrives to bag one of these beauties!

And, in addition to the gorgeous Daleyden collection, don't forget to explore the other styles from Spring drop 1. Lots of lovely knitwear that includes Popcorn Pullovers, Skating Skirts and the Wake Mer Cardigan in multiple colours, plus Scout Tees and Sailor Tops and the retro inspired Rec Tees and Resort Shorts.

You'll be thrilled to hear that the super popular Tisbury Garden print is back too in a gorgeous Garden and Rose Blush spanning a total of 8 styles that include the Balloon Sleeve Paloma, Leggings, the Billie Top and Cycling Shorts.
