Bobo Choses was born in 2008 with the idea of creating a clothing brand that could capture the magical, passionate look and language of children, and their first collection in 2009, The Englishman and the Sitting Bull, was successfully received by both public and media. Since then, their growth has been constant and their locally-made garments can be found in the most prestigious stores in more than thirty countries. Bobo is a fifteen people team that works passionately to create innovative and fun worlds for children. The creative department is led by Adriana Esperalba, founder and CEO of the company. Bobo Choses HQ occupies an old toy factory in Mataró, by the Mediterranean Sea, about thirty miles from the city of Barcelona.
Talking Bobo is the new AW21 collection from Bobo Choses, launching 15th July 2021 at 10am BST. Talking Bobo is a way of being. Although most adults may not understand it, it is very natural for children. Living on the border between reality and imagination, swapping between logic and nonsense, accepting everyone as a friend whether big or small, colourful, shy or grumpy, real or invented. As always, Bobo Choses goes for unisex clothing in the latest collection with garments relatively wide and comfortable, to combine in multiple ways for both boys and girls. Talking Bobo is a collection full of colour, including soft colours such as blue, pink and grey, natural colours like beige, brown and khaki, vivid colours like violet and curry and finally dark colours such as navy blue and anthracite, typically in Bobo's trademark washed out garment dyes. Colours, prints and shapes are adapted for the baby collection to better suit the little ones, making it a fun and easy-to-combine collection.
This winter Bobo Choses has 100% organic cotton knitwear, comfortable to wear on a daily basis. You’ll also find 100% organic cotton jersey, fleece, and soft terry towels, eco-responsible fibres such as Ecovero and Lyocell, and recycled polyester for the outerwear and many of the accessories. 94% of the collection has been produced locally, between Spain and Portugal, with 74% of it located less than 10km from Bobo Choses’ own headquarters.
