Product Specific Exceptions

Printed Items

Due to their fragile nature, printed items are non-returnable. All prints, wrapping paper and cards are checked prior to posting and sent in perfect condition in protective packaging. We do not accept responsibility for printed materials damaged once received.


Garden and Beach Products

Just like with new shoes we advise that you carefully remove your purchase from its original packaging and inspect before enjoying outside. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase please carefully repackage in its original packing and return to us in an unused saleable condition for a full refund. We are unable to accept a return that is soiled or damaged by use, repackaging or return postage.


Inflatable Products

Due to the fragile nature of inflatable products, we advise that you inspect the outer packaging before removing and inflating. Please be careful not to over inflate and ensure you use on a level surface free of any sharp objects. The manufacturers cannot accept liability for damage caused in use, and we are therefore unable to accept returns of these items once removed from the packaging and inflated.


Woollen / Knitted Items

Due to the delicate nature of many of our knitwear items, we are unable to accept returns of items that have bobbled or snagged, or with loose buttons as this will be considered 'wear and tear'.



Wear and Tear

Worn, Damaged or Altered Items

We are unable to refund items that have been worn, damaged or altered in any way.

It is the customer's responsibility to inspect all garments before removing the tags. Please contact us immediately at if you are not completely satisfied with any purchases before wearing the garment.

Once the tags have been removed and the item has been worn we are unable to accept any returns.


Laundered Items

We are unable to accept garments damaged or discoloured during the washing process. We advise that our customers do not use a ‘dosing ball’ due to the potential damage concentrated fabric detergent can cause to the colour.

Please carefully follow the manufacturers’ instructions when washing garments. Some garments are pigment dyed for a vivid saturated colour (‘garment dyed’) and may transfer colour when washing with other items not of a similar colour. We cannot be held responsible for any colour transfer caused when washing.



Non Refundable Expenses

Postage Costs

We are unable to refund original postage costs.


Return Postage Costs

We are unable to subsidise return postage charges and cannot be held responsible for items that do not reach us. We recommend customers returning items to us used a fully tracked service.


Returns Processing Fees

Due to increased operating costs, we are no longer able to fully subsidise charges we incur during the processing of returns. A restocking fee of £1.50 for the first item and £1 for each additional item will be deducted from your refund to contribute to the expenses we incur.


Returning Sale Orders Containing Items With 50% Or Greater Discount

To help us with our sustainability goal, please note that all sales are final on all outlet, clearance and sale purchases with reductions of more than half price (greater than 50% off).

We simply request that customers make considered purchases on items heavily discounted. Our normal returns policy applies to items on sale or promotion up to and including 50% off.

When returning items purchased in sale that qualified for free delivery we reserve the right to deduct the standard outgoing postage expense from the refund.


Delivered Taxes and Duties Paid

Junior Edition agrees to act as your agent to collect any local import taxes and duties and pay them to your local tax and duty authority.

We are unable to reclaim taxes and duties paid at checkout once the parcel has left the UK. If you wish to make a return of items delivered outside of the UK, you the importer will be responsible for reclaiming any local taxes and duties locally.


Undeliverable Orders

Any undeliverable orders returned to us will incur additional postal charges to resend. If we agree to refund the order then a restocking fee of £1.50 for the first item and £1 for each additional item will be deducted from your refund. We will not refund undelivered parcels that are returned to us more than 28 days after purchase.



We are proud to work with One Tree Planted to build a more sustainable future. We are unable to refund donations once made as these funds have been committed to the 3rd party charity.

We kindly ask for our customers to consider the accumulation of air-miles when ordering items they likely intend to return and have put a dedicated customer service team in place who can help measure items and offer expert advice before purchasing in order to reduce the volume of items that might otherwise need to be sent back to us.  Please contact us at and we will endeavour to respond to you within one working day.
