Okido magazine helps children learn through play. It is full of stories, activities and games that stimulate creativity and inspire scientific interest. Each issue of Okido is 48 pages of full colour illustrations with 8 pages of pull-out doodle activities and a free pull-out cardboard game or activity in the centrefold. Meet regular characters such as Messy Monster, Felix and Zoe, Zim, Zam, Zoom, Yoga Monkey and Squirrel Boy. Each issue contains comic strip stories from guest illustrators, an illustrated song or poem, a recipe, stories, activities, experiments, games, doodles, an Okido fan page and more.
Okido is the brainchild of multimedia designer and scientist, Dr Sophie Dauvois and illustrator Rachel Ortas, and is beautifully illustrated by contemporary artists and designers.
Okido is printed with biodegradable vegetable inks on pages of 100% post consumer waste recycled paper or FSC paper (paper from responsible sources).
