Kelsey Garrity-Riley grew up in Germany and Belgium before coming to the United States to pursue her love of art at the Savannah College of Art and Design where she graduated with a BFA in illustration. She loves celebrating childhood nostalgia in her work, often mixed with a dash of melancholy. She carries her passion for creating into window displays, children’s books and editorial work.

Red Cap Cards is a celebration of art and correspondence from Los Angeles based husband-and-wife team Hal Mertz and Carrie Gifford. They collaborate with some of the world’s greatest artists and illustrators to create one of today’s most well-respected, carefully curated art and design stationery brands. Each illustrator is hand-selected for their stunning work, individual point of view and notable achievements in children’s book illustration, animation, design, and modern art.
