Creative director Eva Karayiannis founded Caramel in 1999 with the aim to change people’s minds about childrenswear. She wanted to find a modern, distinctive style, luxurious clothing with a refined simplicity that is beautiful but also functional and hardwearing. Caramel has become well known for luxury children's and baby clothing underpinned by understated sophistication, a refined simplicity, functionality and an extraordinary attention to detail.
Eva references the charm of vintage pieces, bringing them right up to date by pushing the boundaries of the colour palette and fabrics you are supposed to use for children, creating a playful rhythm of layering colours and textures. Caramel has become well known for luxury children's and baby clothing in confident bold prints, underpinned by understated sophistication, a refined simplicity, functionality and an extraordinary attention to detail.
