Poli'ahu Sweatshirt in Dark Slate by Sunray Spirit

Poli'ahu Sweatshirt by Sunray Spirit. Meticulously produced in Japan on an antique circular knitting machine operating at a tension-free 24 rpm, this crew neck sweatshirt is a premium, 1950s-inspired piece defined by its exceptional texture and classic casualwear fit. The Poli’ahu is produced using a 450gsm Japanese brush fleece, which is way heavier than nearly all other sweatshirts. The depth of the internal pile is thick and velvety to the touch. It is produced using Sunray's saddle raglan sleeve design, and features a strong rib neckline and front and rear neck V inserts. Remodelled for 2026 to be wider and shorter, with a smaller 3cm ribbing of the cuffs and hem, to give a more contemporary oversized fit. Its zero-stress loopwheel production weaves a continuous fabric tube with no side seams, ensuring the sweatshirt never skews, warps, or loses its shape after washing. The Japanese fleece is fluffed by a vintage brushing machine.

Machine washable on a gentle cycle. It is recommended to air dry flat.
