Lali AW25 - Drop 1
The first drop of Lali AW25 launches Wednesday 27th August. Lali was created in 2015 by designer Kinnari McDevitt and means little darling in Hindi. Kinnari spent her childhood in India, where there was an honest connection to how one's clothing is made. Her mother taught her how to source fabrics from the textile market which would then be tailored into garments that fit her lifestyle - airy cotton voiles for sweltering summer days, sturdy linens for riding bikes and climbing fences, and raw silks for wedding celebrations. From this experience, the idea of Lali's own special collection of clothing grew.
This collection has been designed to capture the playful escapes children seek, like treehouses, blanket forts and snug corners of the world. Expect a beautiful selection of dresses, thoughtful and timeless styles, made for cosy celebrations. Delicate embroidery traces bodices and cuffs, adding quiet charm to vintage-inspired silhouettes. The Tulip - a beloved silhouette returns—this time in Lali's custom double-sided fabric, inspired by vintage Indian woven blankets.
