Surfing Through Sands Bandana by Bandits Bandanas. The Surfing Through Sands bandana in 100% organic cotton, designed by artist Alina Carballo, Santa Monica CA. When brainstorming ideas for her design, Alina thought about how she had always wanted to visit a coastal desert like Baja, California (which is, consequently, her next planned trip). Her Surfing Through Sands design imagines the feeling of seeing (and surfing) a coastal location where the ocean meets the desert. With coyotes and cacti juxtaposed against swaying palm trees, Alina's design feels dream-like, but also rooted in the natural world at the same time.

Like much of Alina's beautiful work, Surfing Through Sands expertly blends natural tones and vintage elements with a laid-back, sun-drenched sensibility. It effortlessly evokes the feeling of a perfect California day filled with surf, sun, sand, and everything in between. As she puts it, "It just feels like the perfect combo to me—wild, raw, and free."

Printed, cut, sewn, and packaged by hand at a Fair Trade certified facility in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Please note that there may be slight sizing and colour variations from product to product.
