Incense Stand in Blue Grey by Ichikō Ichie

Ichikō Ichie meticulously gather rare natural aromatic woods and essential oils (which are difficult to obtain even in the modern world) and continually explor ways to express the very essence of nature’s scents through incense. They hope that an ‘encounter with authenticity’ will one day bring joy to someone. Their aim is to create moments of joy, one by one. Authenticity, in its purest form. The theme they pursue is ‘What is an authentic fragrance?’

Just as the tone varies depending on the musical instrument, and the flavour of wine changes depending on the grapes, The experience of incense varies depending on its ingredients, and from these differences and nuances, an endless source of delight is born.
