Originating from Fair Isle, a remote island in Scotland's Shetland archipelago, Fair Isle knitting is steeped in tradition and artistry. Generations of knitters developed refined, colourful motifs, most recognisably arranged in circular yokes that wrap the shoulders in warmth and pattern.

Expertly crafted in Scotland, it's made from 100% pure wool spun from the hardy Shetland sheep, an ancient breed renowned for thriving in the rugged Scottish climate. Each sheep produces a limited amount of wool, making this yarn highly sought after for its exceptional quality, warmth, and character.
