Soft Gallery's new collection is called The Scene and is inspired by the streets of NYC - the art, music, fashion and people.  The collection has a retro New York artist's vibe, and features iconic New York street food in burger and hot dog illustrations, 1980s roller skates, bunny ears and deeley boppers, and New York pets, featuring cat illustrations and embroideries, and miniature dogs - chihauhuas and french bulldog prints.

Embroidered Kitty Jacket

Soft Gallery is best-known for its artistic collaborations which feature as prints, embroidered details and embellishment on all its garments; a 'Soft Gallery' of art.  When we first saw the AW15 collection there were immediate stand-out illustrations in the collection, most of them featuring cats!  Our favourite piece this season is the embroidered kitty jacket, featuring an embroidered cat on the back with sequin embellishments from an original illustration by Katy Smail.  The same design is also featured on this cool sweatshirt dress too.

Embroidered Kitty Sweatshirt Dress

We also have this rather fabulous sweatshirt featuring a siamese cat wearing deeply boppers!  From an original Soft Gallery illlustration by Mia Overgaard, the sweatshirt features softly gathered neckline and waist and embroidered details.

Kittycat Sweatshirt

Babies are well catered for in the collection, with very cute cat illustrated sweatpants, sweatshirt jacket and sweatshirt dress all featuring the cute cat illustrations by Scottish artist Katy Smail.

 Kitty Print Dress

And last up is the stunning screen printed, embroidered and embellished artwork of Marie Lisborg from Denmark, featuring, yes, another cat!  On oeko-tex premium quality cotton and featuring a lovely softly gathered neckline and cuffs.

Embroidered Cat Top

We love the high quality screen-printing, premium cottons and hand embroidered details of Soft Gallery pieces, all in practical, easy-care shapes that make them extremely wearable and modern.  Beautiful artistic pieces that are designed to be worn.  Shop Soft Gallery now!
