Single Blackwing Pearl Pink balanced pencils by Blackwing. The legendary Blackwing pencil in pearly pink. The new pink Pearl colourway is a new addition to the core Blackwing pencil line-up. Each pencil contains the same balanced and smooth graphite core found in the other Pearl pencils. It is softer than the graphite found in the Blackwing 602, but firmer than the graphite found in the Blackwing Matte, a favourite among calligraphers and illustrators. Each pencil features a pearlescent finish, iconic square Blackwing ferrule, silver imprint, and bright blue eraser. With a balanced lead, these pencils are great for any creative young person, and are perfect as a first writing pencil.

Blackwing pencils are high-quality graphite pencils known for their smooth writing, premium materials, and unique rectangular eraser. The brand was established in the 1930s by Eberhard Faber and was a favourite of many legendary creatives, most famously by writer John Steinbeck and animator Chuck Jones. Production ended in 1998 when the machine used to make the clips for the erasers broke down, and the remaining Blackwing pencils became highly sought after. The pencils were revived in 2010 by California Cedar Products. Claimed by many to be the best writing utensil in the world, Blackwing pencils are famous for the quality of graphite, iconic shape, replaceable eraser, and the men and women whose works they’ve inspired throughout the years.

In addition to the core line, Blackwing regularly releases special limited-edition pencils, known as Volumes, that feature unique designs honouring different cultural icons and movements.
