Organic Ceremonial Limited Edition Uji Matcha by Matchasome. This new organic Limited Edition Uji matcha is exclusively imported by Matchasome. In fact, it is the first time this beautiful single estate matcha has left Japan for the rest of the world to enjoy. Packed with healthy levels of amino acids (L-theanine), antioxidants (EGCG), vitamins, and minerals, and comes in a beautiful vibrant green colour that extends to its taste.

Nestled in the heart of Kyoto Prefecture, Uji has been perfecting the art of tea since the 12th century, making it the oldest and most experienced tea region in Japan. Known for its foggy mornings, hilly terrain for excellent drainage, mineral-rich water, and expert shading techniques, Uji produces matcha that is vibrant, creamy, and rich in umami. Every sip reflects a legacy of craftsmanship and quality, earning it the reputation as the champagne of all matcha.

Clean, delicate, velvety, and harmonious with a hint of sweetness; suitable for koicha, usucha, and latte.

Matcha Shot: Sift 1 tsp (2-2.5g) of matcha powder into a bowl. Pour 30-40 ml of warm water at 70ºC (158°F). Whisk in fast zip-zag motion for around 30 seconds until frothy and clump-free.

Usucha: To drink it pure as usucha, add 30-40ml more water to the matcha shot. Enjoy hot or over ice.

Matcha Latte: Add 200-300ml of your favorite milk to the matcha shot. Enjoy hot or over ice.

Founded by Julia and Nina in the summer of 2022, Matchasome was born out of sheer necessity. Living in Germany, finding a good cup of matcha seemed like a daunting task, even in the heart of Berlin. Since then, the duos idea of making delicious matcha readily available has grown into their passion project — in fact, something much more.
