Laura Skilbeck creates beautiful hand drawn and painted cards in a world of ever more computerised images. She began designing her greetings cards in her studio in Uppermill, Manchester and now are sold in shops and galleries across the country. Sustainability has always been at the core of her values; her cards have always been made in the UK, and have always been printed on recycled card and packaged in biodegradable sleeves. Alongside her paintings and illustrations she runs community art workshops, plays guitar in her DIY girl band and helped to create a free art school in Salford.
