Poudre Organic is the brainchild of Manon and Quentin who, having struggled to find affordable ecological and natural clothing for their third child, started to make a range of simple, practical and beautiful clothing for their daughters. Inspired by fabrics such as organic cotton muslin gauze and traditional, vintage styling this evolved into a much admired collection of clothing that other people both loved and wanted too and so in 2014, Poudre Organic was born.

As the name itself suggests, everything in the collection is organic and the clothing itself is ethically made in Portugal using only the softest organic cottons that are GOTS and OEKO-TEX certified as well as other low energy materials such as linen. Their designs are lovingly put together in small scale surroundings where the name of every seamstress is known to Manon and Quentin.

From baby right through to mama, the collections are always simple, wearable and well-made using a simple palette of earthy colours in easy-to-wear timeless shapes. Each piece not only feels wonderful to the touch but is just perfect for babies and children's delicate skin.

From SS21 the collection Para Sempre from Poudre Organic will be a permanent, season-less collection to update with new pieces, styles and colours at your own pace rather than dictated to by seasons. Timeless colours such as Pirate Black, Denim, Almond Milk and Forest Green will transition across the seasons, in soft organic cottons perfect for layering and breathable comfort whatever the weather.  This really is slow fashion at its best.

New in for the very littlest ones we have some beautiful 100% organic cotton bodysuits and leggings which come in three pretty prints - Hors-Saison Honey (which can just be made out above), Hors-Saison Blue Surf and Hearts Lipstick. The Lierre Wrap Body starts at just 1 month and runs up to 6 months - the side closure and poppers at the crotch make for easy changing when they are so young. Meanwhile, the Aloes Long Sleeve Bodysuit starts at 9 months and goes up to 24 months whilst the Basilic Leggings are available in all of the sizes across both the bodysuit styles.

For the older children we have a little bit of everything really! From bloomers, shorts and pants to t-shirts and blouses to sweatshirts and hoodies as well as pretty dresses in a multitude of styles. The Mangue Dress has been selling incredibly well, with only several of the larger sizes still left in the gorgeous denim version. This is a sleeveless, pinafore style dress with full, gathered skirt, two sizeable front pockets and buttons at the back. It really is gorgeous and perfectly suited to a bit of twirling! Available this season in Pirate Black, Forest Green and Almond Milk as well as the Light Blue Denim in ages 3 to 8 years.

The shorts and blouses also make for a really pretty but practical pairing that works really well on older children too. I adore the Oeilet Shorts, which come in both Pirate Black and Forest Green and run as large as 10 years together with the Poire Blouse which we have in Almond Milk and Forest Green. They just look so effortlessly chic together!

I could wax lyrical for hours about this beautiful brand and it is very much a staple in my own wardrobe where you will find several of the Epimede dresses (a strappy sundress that looks equally as good worn as a pinafore with the Marjolaine t-shirt underneath), the sleeveless Magnolia dress which is wonderful for the hottest of days, the Girofle long sleeve dress that I pretty much wore to death last summer and the AMAZING Pomelos pants in corduroy and Cedrat sweatshirt which I treated myself to last week. Every piece is beautifully cut and wonderful to wear, I really do reach for them time and time again.
