Blackwing Pen by Blackwing. The Blackwing Pen is a thoughtfully designed rollerball pen that combines everyday writing comfort with a weighty, tactile feel.

Made from precisely machined aluminium, this pen features Blackwing’s distinctive half-moon shape for a comfortable grip while preventing it from rolling off your desk. Its balanced weight feels substantial without being overbearing, and the dual-spring click mechanism delivers a satisfying tactile click with every use. Fitted with a smooth black Schmidt P8127 rollerball cartridge, it produces an expressive medium line and can also be used with other cap-less rollerball pen cartridges.

Blackwing pencils are high-quality graphite pencils known for their smooth writing, premium materials, and unique rectangular eraser. The brand was established in the 1930s by Eberhard Faber and was a favourite of many legendary creatives, most famously by writer John Steinbeck and animator Chuck Jones. Production ended in 1998 when the machine used to make the clips for the erasers broke down, and the remaining Blackwing pencils became highly sought after. The pencils were revived in 2010 by California Cedar Products. Claimed by many to be the best writing utensil in the world, Blackwing pencils are famous for the quality of graphite, iconic shape, replaceable eraser, and the men and women whose works they’ve inspired throughout the years.

In addition to the core line, Blackwing regularly releases special limited-edition pencils, known as Volumes, that feature unique designs honouring different cultural icons and movements.
