Christmas Trees....

Does yours go up in November or do you leave it until Christmas Eve?

Do you plump for an opulent artificial tree or spend hours walking through a forest of fresh trees desperately seeking THE ONE?

However and whenever you kickstart Christmas this year (for us its always the first weekend in December) we have the most gorgeous range of tree decorations for the festive season ahead with well over 100 hanging tree decorations in addition to fabulous garlands and wreaths.

Felt So Good specialise in Fairtrade, handmade, felted decorations with bags of personality!  From day 1, their underlying ethos has been to produce high quality, ethically produced, sustainable products that don’t compromise on design and that remains unchanged more than a decade on.

Their designs are HUGE amounts of fun and are made from a top-quality sheep’s wool sourced from New Zealand, a completely natural by-product which is processed to the highest environmental standards and always cruelty free.

Most popular in the shop, perhaps unsurprisingly, is the seagull. Locals often plump for the beach and sea orientated designs of which there are LOTS - mermaids, crabs, whales, sharks, octopi, jellyfish, squid... there's even a prawn! Personally I've got a bit of a soft spot for the dinosaurs, especially the little guy with the blue hat.

Amica are another wonderful company specialising in felt Christmas decorations, everything is designed at their studio in Bristol, then made with great skill and to the highest quality, by a fantastic team in Nepal.

There are lots cute characters from this wonderful brand, I've replaced our tree topper this year with their super jolly, gift bearing Santa (our poor old angel was a decade old and looking a bit sad) and I ADORE their domestic animals - there are some really cute rabbits, hamsters cats and dogs (including chocolate labradors, fox terriers, schnauzers and sausage dogs) but it has to be the guinea pig in a santa hat for the win!

Meri Meri is a brand that has become synonymous with celebrations of all shapes, sizes and origins. Now one of the leading children’s lifestyle, party and giftware company it started life from a kitchen table in Los Angeles back in 1985 with founder Meredithe Stuart-Smith making her first cards with some scissors and pens, and a big pot of glitter!

We have heaps of Meri Meri in-store and lots of Christmas goodies that include tableware, gifts, crackers, gift wrap, greetings cards and stocking fillers as well as room and tree decorations. Mr and Mrs Reindeer make for a really cute couple, Mr Reindeer is beautifully crafted from cotton with red overalls, glittery antlers and shimmering gold features whilst Mrs Reindeer sports a very festive glittery dress! Sold separately but just lovely as a pair.

Sass and Belle are newcomers to the shop this season and there is one decoration in particular that caught my eye this year. Granted, it might not be to everyone's taste (I actually REALLY enjoy them) but what's not to love about Mr Sprout? He even comes with a party hat, what a good time guy! If like me you're a bit of a sprout fan, take a moment to look up Amica's sprout and christmas pudding decorative garland because that is also a little bit ace. Yes of course I'm getting one!!!

We have so many Christmas goodies online and our Christmas Shop went live online this week too. We have presents for every pocket, decorations, tableware, crackers, gift wrap, cards and tags, stocking fillers and of course some really gorgeous clothing if you like to put your kids in something special Christmas Day.
