T-192 Trunk shape tool box by Toyo Steel. The T-192 is two-thirds the thickness of the existing T-190 series and ideal for smaller stationery items, especially pens. Made in Osaka since 1969, these tool boxes are a stylish addition to any desk. Holds small stationery items, sandwiches and little toys. Stackable with other Toyo Steel trunk shape tool boxes (T-190 and T-192) and available in a variety of colours.
Established in 1969, Toyo Steel was the first to develop a deep drawing technology, allowing them to create toolboxes from a single sheet of steel. This technique, which involves shaping the sheets with metal molds, results in a seamless toolbox that is robust and hardwearing. Widely acclaimed for its simple-yet-refined design, the Toyo toolbox has won both the Good Design and Long Life Design awards. Initially created for industrial professionals, today the toolboxes are used in many different ways, from organising everyday gadgets to storing art supplies.
