Summer at Home with Liewood
It looks increasingly likely that that summer will mean a lot more time at home for most of us this year and we've just taken delivery of a fantastic range of products from Liewood that we hope will help transform outside spaces into a fun place to be with your families during the sunny weather, together with a beautiful selection of swimwear, sun hats and pool/bath towels.
The big news is that WE HAVE PADDLING POOLS! The excitement at our house when these landed reached fever pitch and the girls beg to go in EVERY SINGLE DAY whatever the weather!!
These have been flying out (as you would imagine given the glorious weather we've been having) but, at the time of 'going to press' we had 6 different style/sizes to choose from - the smaller Lenore style pictured above with a 43 litre capacity (70% full) and the larger Savannah pool with a 230 litre capacity, again at 70% full.
The Liewood swimwear collection this season is a little bit AMAZING! We have swim suits, swim tees, bikinis, jumpsuits, trunks and the prettiest long sleeve swim costumes with frills. Lots of prints too - the confetti dots, rainbows, leo leopard, multi-stripes and even sea creatures. There's a style and print to suit every taste with some styles starting at just 1 month and others going all the way up to 9 years!
We found out last weekend that Liewood's bath toys also make perfect paddling pool companions and the super cute characters have bucketloads of appeal. Available as the Algi dinosaur set in two colour-ways (blue mix and rose mix) or the Vikky cat and rabbit set in three colour-ways (rose/mustard, blue wave/mustard and dusty green/creme de la mer) these float perfectly on the surface of the water and are made from 100% natural BPA free rubber.
When they're ready to come out of the water (if they're EVER ready to come out of the water!) Liewood's cosy hooded towels made from soft organic cotton are the perfect thing to wrap up in. There are lots of new characters and colour-ways this season but one of our favourites is the Louie towel which comes in two sizes and three colours - yellow mellow, sea blue and rose.
We also have LOTS of sun hats for those really scorching sunny days. The Gorm Sunhat comes in five new prints this season and is a great choice for maximum protection. It has a long shade at the back to help keep cool and protect the neck as well as a front shade to help keep the sun out of your little ones eyes and the cutest little ears. The Amelia Sunhat is a floppy, wide-brimmed hat made from 100% organic cotton and available in six pretty prints, starting at 0-6 months and going all the way up to 5-7 years. We also have a good selection of bucket hats and caps in a variety of prints and several cute characters!
The Bre Sandals have become this summer's must have shoe (honestly we can't pack them quick enough!!) - they are great for protecting little feet in the garden and are perfect for sand and water play. They come in 11 colours in sizes 19 EUR (UK 3) to 30 EUR (UK 11.5)
And finally we have stocked up on lots of toys that work brilliantly in the garden and will be fab on the beach when we get the chance to return. The Lyon watering cans are great fun in the paddling pool or set them to task in the garden keeping everything watered! Sold separately or as part of the Lotus gardening set, these are perfect for any budding gardeners!
We have bucket and spade sets galore including the new Batian Mini Beach Set complete with a sieve which is great for water play with lots, lots more online! Whatever summer brings this year, we hope you have fun!
