Pegasus by Schleich
Pegasus by Schleich. Hand painted fantasy animal figurine from the Bayala collection by Scheich.
5.9" x 3.3" x 7.1".
A pegasus can fly incredibly fast and far. But only a few elves are fortunate enough to get to ride on one of these flying horses. That’s because only the pegasus decides who gets to ride it. With a single flap of its wings, the flying horse soars up from the ground and quickly vanishes beyond the horizon with a dazzling trail of light. No other being in Bayala can fly as high and fast as a pegasus. And almost no other creature is as noble or beautiful. If you see one in the sky, it looks like a shooting star. Very few elves have ever been allowed to ride a pegasus. Only those who are chosen can sit on its back and fly from one place to another at incredible speeds.
Fun fact: You can’t tame a pegasus like a horse – but you can become friends with one.
Schleich products are made of various plastics and dyes, which are carefully selected to meet the respective requirements. Most typically plastics used are polyvinyl chloride (PVC), thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), in addition to other plastics typical for toys. Even the material suppliers are subject to strict controls by our quality officers. The dyes used are optimally adapted to the different types of plastic and demonstrate top-rate mechanical and chemical resistance. They ensure the high durability of Schleich products and make all Schleich pieces saliva and sweat proof as well as abrasion-resistant, and thus ensure that they are completely safe for playing with. Only once a product meets fully all international laws, standards and guidelines for toys is it released for production. All Schleich articles and materials comply with the national and international toy requirements applicable worldwide, as well as the new European Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC and DIN EN 71.
