Soor Ploom AW26 Wovens & Socks Collection launches Thursday 17th September at 3pm BST.
Soor Ploom's Woven collection is crafted in Portugal where they work with a dedicated team to source the finest and most sustainable fabrics created in Europe and Japan. Their pieces are predominantly made with natural fibres including cotton and linen. Each season they strive to replace conventional cotton with certified organic and responsible cotton where possible. They also incorporate recycled cotton and many of their denim fabrics this season are a blend of post and pre- consumer cotton.
Their denim styles are ozone washed, meaning less water and energy are used in production and without the harsh chemicals usually needed to give denim a washed and worn look. Soor Ploom also incorporate natural dyes, some of the styles have been dyed with roots, leaves, seed extracts and minerals. Look out for the three icons that signify these sustainable practices, Biotint, Mineral Dye and Ozone Wash.
