The Bright Company
The Bright Company is a British sleepwear, clothing and bedding design-led brand, with bright colours and strong graphic prints for flourishing young personalities. The designs are unisex, letting children be children free from gender stereotyping, and allowing products to be passed on to little brothers, sisters, cousins or friends.
The business was founded and is led by Alienor Falconer, a British-based designer and product developer who graduated from the London College of Fashion. After spending the first part of her career in the fashion industry, most recently for the British label Paul Smith, Alienor launched The Bright Company for AW13.
The Bright Company is passionate about British design and production, with all collections designed and produced in Britain. They work with suppliers that they take the time to get to know and trust and who pride themselves on high quality production. The design pays close attention to the distinct physical needs of babies and toddlers - for example the Slim Jym pyjamas are snug fitting so that they don’t ‘ride up’ at night leaving your little ones with cold patches, or leave baggy excess fabric that can restrict the tentative first crawls, steps and runs. The fabric used is equally important, with cotton interlock fabric tested and verified using the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 to ensure no harmful substances or dyes are used at any stage of production or left as a residue on the fabric.
The prints have been designed with exclusive Sarah Dyer illustrations. Sarah Dyer studied illustration at Kingston University and graduated in 2001. She has written and illustrated 10 children's picture books which have been published all over the world. She lives beside the sea in Hove with her family.
