6.2" x 3.8" x 4.4".

The Kentrosaurus was a peaceful herbivore, but it was far from defenceless. The sharp spikes on its neck and back were capable of inflicting serious injuries on predators. But most dangerous of all were the long spikes on its tail. If it had to defend itself, it lashed its tail around like a giant club.

Fun fact: The Kentrosaurus had the longest tail spikes of any dinosaur. They grew to a length of 73 centimetres.

Schleich products are made of various plastics and dyes, which are carefully selected to meet the respective requirements.  Most typically plastics used are polyvinyl chloride (PVC), thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), in addition to other plastics typical for toys.  Even the material suppliers are subject to strict controls by our quality officers. The dyes used are optimally adapted to the different types of plastic and demonstrate top-rate mechanical and chemical resistance.  They ensure the high durability of Schleich products and make all Schleich pieces saliva and sweat proof as well as abrasion-resistant, and thus ensure that they are completely safe for playing with. Only once a product meets fully all international laws, standards and guidelines for toys is it released for production.  All Schleich articles and materials comply with the national and international toy requirements applicable worldwide, as well as the new European Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC and DIN EN 71.
