Gardner & The Gang AW16
Gardner and the Gang is a children's clothing line by Kristin Nystrom, a Swede living in Singapore. All garments are super soft, comfy and play-friendly with a high dose of fashion. Kristin draws all prints and makes characters that all have a story to tell, coming up with different themes for each range, ones that children and parents alike can relate to and fall in love with. The original art is all hand-drawn, and these drawings are turned into screens, which are then screen-printed on organic cotton.
The AW16 collection is called 'A Day At The Carnival', and features Courtney the poodle, Bert the Basset and Greg the Griffon.
Courtney the poodle just cam back from a tennis tournament in Sydney, and meets her friend Bert the Basset, who has spent the summer swimming in Ibiza and seems a bit tired these days. They spend an Autumn day at the carnival with their cousin Greg the Griffon (who is mischief in a nutshell). They are old friends and have not caught up for a while but as always are always up to no good - all you need is soda and hotdogs, some popcorn and a kind heart and you will have the time of your life!
Enjoy a day at the carnival this season with Courtney, Bert and Greg - mischief is not always a bad thing...
The AW16 collection is also inspired by the beautiful Mondrian painting Trafalgar Square, the vibrating colours reminded Kristin of her childhood where she got to play freely and explore. This is a celebration to all the beautiful colours of growing up that all children are entitled to.
