Kamso: Inspired by African Heritage

Kamso: Inspired by African Heritage

We are delighted to welcome Kamso to Junior Edition for the first time this season. Founded by Seyi Sokoya, it is the most beautiful children's lifestyle brand, ethically made and inspired by African heritage. For boys and girls up to 8 years of age.

Seyi was inspired to create Kamso after graduating. She became a mother during her last year of university and had noticed that children's clothing lacked the authenticity she associated with African heritage with African inspired clothing often relying heavily on the use of intense prints in their design.

Say Hello To Bonjour

Say Hello To Bonjour

Bonjour was created in 2014 by Anne Millet. A stylist in children's fashion for over 20 years, she wanted to create a more personal universe, one influenced by a love of travel and the colours and textures found in far flung flea markets.

Bonjour is a family business - Anne and her partner Yorick joined forces to help develop the brand, together creating the trademark aesthetic and imagery that is so loved by parents and their children the world over.

We are delighted to be stocking Bonjour here at Junior Edition for our third season now and truly believe that Anne and Yorick have created something really quite magical.

Oeuf: Heavy Petal

Oeuf: Heavy Petal

Brooklyn based Oeuf are a family-run studio and one of our longest-standing sustainable children’s brands. Formed back in 2002 by husband and wife team Michael Ryan and Sophie Demenge, they have been with us here at Junior Edition since the Spring/Summer season of 2018 and continue to delight us season after season with their beautifully playful childrenswear collections.

Combining intuitive design with a clean and simple style this is clothing that is designed to be loved hard and handed down. We know from personal experience how well it wears and washes and how enduring the styles and designs are having been passed from one child to the next here.

Mini Rodini: The Future Looks Bright, Pre AW22

The latest collection from Mini Rodini is a triumphant return to Mini Rodini at its best, with Cassandra Rhodin's signature prints and the return of some much loved prints from the Mini Rodini archives.

For this collection, Cassandra takes inspiration from New York City in the 70s and the intriguing psychic shops in Manhattan's Lower East Side. Will you be spending the summer in the breezy Hamptons or staying in the city in the hot buzzing streets of New York?

Lali Kids: Inspired By Traditions From The Past

Lali Kids: Inspired By Traditions From The Past

Lali Kids are new to Junior Edition for the Spring/Summer season of 2022. A line of clothing for both babies and older children that is rooted in nostalgia and draws its inspiration from historic traditions. Every new collection is as beautiful as the last - these are pieces to be played in, cherished and then passed down to be worn and loved again.

Lali Studio is a women-led collective that was founded by designer Kinnari McDevitt back in 2015. Passionate about native Indian textiles that are reminiscent of her own childhood, her collections showcase the traditional crafts of artisan printers, weaver and makers.

Bebe Organic : Beautiful and Unique

Bebe Organic : Beautiful and Unique

We were thrilled to welcome Bebe Organic to Junior Edition this year, such a beautiful brand that fits so perfectly with our ethos.

Bebe Organic was founded back in 2014 by mother of two and MA graduate of London College of Fashion, Birgit Kadak whose desire to create a range of original, organic childrenwear was driven by the struggle to find suitable clothing for her first-born child who had been diagnosed with atopic dermatitis, an extremely sensitive skin condition.

Liilu: Bloom

Liilu: Bloom

Liilu creates timeless, sustainable clothing that is both minimalistic in design and classic in style. Sibylle Pal is the German designer and mother of two at the heart of this brand and her collections are very much rooted in memories from her own childhood and influenced by years of travel.

The collection itself is manufactured in Portugal, made entirely from 100% organic cotton making it wonderfully kind to the most sensitive of skins. Every Liilu piece has gone through a special washing technique that gives the garment a unique softness and signature scent.

Poudre Organic: Para Sempre

Poudre Organic: Para Sempre

Poudre Organic is the brainchild of Manon and Quentin who, having struggled to find affordable ecological and natural clothing for their third child, started to make a range of simple, practical and beautiful clothing for their daughters. Inspired by fabrics such as organic cotton muslin gauze and traditional, vintage styling this evolved into a much admired collection of clothing that other people both loved and wanted too and so in 2014, Poudre Organic was born.

As the name itself suggests, everything in the collection is organic and the clothing itself is ethically made in Portugal using only the softest organic cottons that are GOTS and OEKO-TEX certified as well as other low energy materials such as linen. Their designs are lovingly put together in small scale surroundings where the name of every seamstress is known to Manon and Quentin.

Wynken: Disco Safari

Wynken: Disco Safari

If there was an award for best collection name of the season I feel sure that Wynken would be claiming first place with the fabulous Disco Safari!

Inspired by the song lyrics of French electro band Yella, Wynken has created a collection of warm and earthy tones with burnt orange, red earth and lion stripe combined with purple haze and hot blush pink and red. Whilst this season's prints are inspired by 70’s disco club flyers, African wax prints and animals of the savannah. Dream theme!!

We Are The New Society: The Sea Side of Life

We Are The New Society: The Sea Side of Life

The New Society is a truly beautiful collection of clothes for both children and women created by Estefania Grandio in Madrid. Designed with sustainability and made in Europe using organic fabrics it is our third season with this beautiful brand.

Their SS21 collection is called The Sea Side Of Life  -  as seaside dwelling folks ourselves it was always going to be a concept we were going to fall in love with, even if Brighton isn't quite as evocative of sunny sandy days as the med!

All Aboard! Mini Rodini on the Trans-Siberian Railway

All Aboard! Mini Rodini on the Trans-Siberian Railway

Mini Rodini are a firm favourite here at Junior Edition - they are one of our longest standing brands and like you, we love their quirky and colourful prints, the quality (their clothing washes and wears SO well) and most importantly of all, that everything is manufactured with care for animals, people and the planet.

Their latest collection is an absolute corker and draws its inspiration from the slow and romantic journey by train across the continent on the Trans-Siberian Railway. Prints and styles represent a number of different stops en route that include Stockholm, Moscow, Ulan Bator, Beijing and Seoul.
